Frequently asked questions
Quick answers on trading, funds and compliance
Which markets and assets are supported?+
One account covers two markets: US equities (whole shares, minimum 1 share, order-by-amount supported) and crypto (USDT/USDC-quoted spot). A-shares are quote-only with no order placement at present, and tokenized assets (RWA) are not live yet. Quotes stream in real time from multiple sources and are valued under a unified FX conversion — no app-switching.
How are my funds kept safe?+
Fund safety is the top priority at every layer: on-chain assets are held under institutional-grade MPC custody — the complete private key is never assembled. Every withdrawal passes three gates — risk limits (per-order notional, price band, rate limiting, KYC-tier daily caps), an address whitelist (24–48h cooldown in production), and tiered approval (auto for small amounts, manual for large, four-eyes for critical actions where initiator ≠ reviewer). The ledger is reconciled daily to a trial balance (debits and credits net to zero per asset), with AML screening and automated anomaly alerts; a master withdrawal kill-switch allows one-click halt and four-eyes resume.
How do deposits and withdrawals work?+
Deposits: the platform derives a dedicated address per chain; once you transfer in, chain listeners / custodian callbacks credit your account automatically after each chain's required confirmations, with a live 'X/Y confirmations + ETA' display. Withdrawals: add a whitelisted address first (production cooldown applies), then the request passes risk and approval, is signed and broadcast on-chain, and settles on confirmation (verifiable on-chain); on failure, frozen funds are auto-refunded. Minimum amounts and network fees are computed per chain/asset and shown before you confirm.
Do I need KYC verification?+
Browsing markets needs no login; trading requires basic identity verification (KYC L1). The platform is being built to Hong Kong licensing standards, with its application in progress; retail users must also complete a suitability assessment, knowledge test and risk-disclosure acknowledgement before buying virtual assets — triggered on demand during onboarding at your first order (toggleable in admin). Higher trading/withdrawal limits map to higher KYC tiers.
How are trading fees calculated?+
Trading fees are charged as basis points (bps) of filled notional, with separate taker and maker rates and optional KYC-tier discounts (maker / liquidity-providing orders can be cheaper or even free). Rates are delivered live from platform config and take effect about 5s after an admin change. Before you submit, the order panel shows the estimated fee, estimated fill quantity/notional, and the buy 'estimated pay' / sell 'estimated receive' amount — all computed in BigInt with round-up, matching the backend's fee logic.
